STEPHANIE STELZER
President

Hey there! My name is Stephanie Stelzer and I am the President of Theta Alpha! I am a fourth year Digital Arts and Computer Science major and have plans to pursue a career as a software engineer in an artistic setting upon my graduation in the Fall of 2023. Outside of Theta Alpha, I am the Developer Department Manager at The Agency, an advertising organization that is run through UF's College of Journalism and Communications. I also serve as an Engineering Ambassador and conduct research focused on computer graphics. I came to the University of Florida as an out-of-state student searching for a community that would push me to grow in my relationship with Jesus. One of the many ways the Lord answered this prayer was through joining Theta Alpha! Throughout the last three years, I can wholeheartedly say that my time in this sisterhood has brought me some of the sweetest friends and joy-filled memories, but most importantly, a Christ-centered community that has anchored me in my faith. I could not be more honored to serve as President this year, as this ministry has become my home at UF. As President, I supervise all activities of our sorority and support the officers, chairs, and all sisters in any capacity that I can. It is truly a blessing to serve a ministry that has given me so much, and I am so expectant of all that the Lord has in store for our sisterhood this year!

Chaplain
REINA FORTUNE
Hey everyone! My name is Reina Fortune and I have the pleasure of serving Theta Alpha as Chaplain this year. I am a junior studying Health Science on the Pre-Dental track and pursuing a certificate in Dance in Medicine. My end-goal is to become a Pediatric Public Health Dentist that serves overseas. I was born and raised in the beautiful Orlando, Fl. Some of my previous and current involvements include the First-Generation Leadership Program, being a Pre-Dental Society Delegate, Greenhouse College, and being a Dean Ambassador for the College of Public Health and Health Professions (PHHP). Some of my favorite things are Marvel movies, Haitian food, playing the violin and time spent with friends and family! As Chaplain, I will lead the sisterhood in our spiritual development by giving weekly chapter messages and managing accountability groups, prayer events, worship, outreach, devotionals, missions and our semester retreat. I held off on joining Theta Alpha for two whole semesters, until last semester where I decided to deliberately make the time and finally rush. The community and vibe of Theta Alpha is truly like no other school club or organization I've been in because it’s built on the foundation of Jesus Christ and the Bible. This is what makes this organization so special to me and keeps our community thriving!
ADRIENNE MARTIN
Internal VP

Hi! My name is Adrienne Martin and I am serving as Theta Alpha’s Internal Vice President for the 2022-2023 school year! I am a junior majoring in Educational Sciences and also a member of the UF marching band. I love to workout, spend quality time with friends and family, and travel! As Internal Vice President of Theta Alpha, I oversee all internal operations including rush, sisterhood, service, and family weekend. The most important aspect of this role is to make sure every sister feels seen, loved, and known by each of our sisters and ultimately God. This is shown by loving each other the way Christ loves us—with kindness, truth, and meeting people where they are. Theta Alpha has truly embodied this, as this community's character, actions, and intentionality and were very evident to me when I was first joining. I’m so thankful for this sisterhood and can’t wait for what God has in store for this year! If you ever need a coffee date or someone to workout with, I’m your go-to gal! :)

External VP
KATELYND JONES
Hello everyone! My name is Katelynd Jones and I am serving as the External Vice President of Theta Alpha this year. I am a fifth year student at the University of Florida studying English and Business! When I am not hanging out with Theta Alpha, I spend my time with CRU at UF and with my one year old puppy Rory. I really love to read, bake, travel, and spend time with my friends and family. Theta Alpha has been such a blessing in my life and I hope to pass that blessing forward as EVP through overseeing our external events like socials, philanthropy, and date functions! My ultimate goal is to allow sisters to grow in their faith through Christ like community that allows every sister to feel seen, loved, and uplifted. I can’t wait to see all of you this upcoming semester and invest in what God has in store!
COLLEEN MARTIN
Treasurer

Hey y’all! My name is Colleen Martin and I am thrilled to be serving as Theta Alpha’s treasurer for the 2022-2023 school year! I am a junior from the Tampa Bay Area majoring in Biochemistry and minoring in Math. In my free time you can find me reading old science fiction books, watching hockey (Go Bolts!), feeding my caffeine addiction at a number of coffee shops around Gainesville, and going on spontaneous midnight milkshake runs with friends. My job as treasurer is to manage the chapter’s finances and to develop a budget for various events that will allow our members to grow in faith and sisterhood. As a freshman during the COVID years, I was incredibly isolated and unsure of my future at UF. However, when I joined Theta Alpha, I knew that I was right where I needed to be. I have been blessed with lifelong friends who encourage me to grow in my faith and provide love and support through everything life throws my way. I am so thankful for the opportunity to give back to this sisterhood, and I cannot wait to see what God has planned for this year!

Secretary
MERRITT REECE
Hey y’all! My name is Merritt Reece and I am the Secretary of Theta Alpha! I’m a junior, Nutritional Sciences major, and I’m on the pre-med track. I’m originally from Panama City Beach, FL. I’m involved in neuroscience research at the McKnight Brain Institute and a mission trip organization called Global Public Health Brigades. As Secretary, I help sisters maintain their active status among their busy schedules. I also keep track of attendance, record the minutes for meetings, and work closely with my chairs who maintain the social media pages, interact with alumnae, and create a scrapbook of memories for each semester. Becoming a part of this sisterhood is the greatest decision I’ve made throughout my time at UF. Not only have I gained so many close, lifelong friends, but my time in Theta Alpha has also fostered my own spiritual growth. God has great plans for this sisterhood and I cannot wait to see those plans come to fruition!
